Lavender Blue on Hyndland Street crowned Scotland's best florist

A much-loved West End florist has been recognised as the best in Scotland. Lavender Blue, on Hyndland Street, was named best florist at the 2025 Scottish Independent Retail Awards.

The award was also celebrated in the Scottish Parliament, where a motion described Lavender Blue as a vibrant and much-loved florist and said the achievement reflects the hard work, creativity and dedication of owner Allie McCann and her small, close-knit team since the business opened 15 years ago.

Lavender Blue first opened its doors in September 2010. The shop says that a decade on it was still run by its original team of three, continuing to hone its skills to create beautiful floral arrangements for every occasion.
