Scottish menswear brand Sorsa opens a choose-what-you-pay store at St Enoch Centre

A homegrown menswear brand with an unusual approach to pricing has arrived in Glasgow city centre. Sorsa opened at the St Enoch Centre in September 2026, its first store in Glasgow and its second overall, following the success of its shop in Bellshill.

Sorsa offers premium men's clothing with a choose-what-you-pay model, giving shoppers more control over what they spend on each item. Women's lines are set to follow later in the year, and the brand's golf collection has quickly become its best-selling range.

There is a feel-good reason to shop, too. The purpose-led brand donates 50% of its profits to Scottish Action for Mental Health (SAMH), driven by a belief that mental health support is underserviced and that SAMH's work is critical for the people of Scotland. SAMH is also the St Enoch Centre's charity partner, making the opening a natural fit.

The brand was founded in 2024 by Sarah Jane Gaffney and John Neill, best friends for more than twenty years. After John retired from professional football with Hearts, he became one of the top ten footgolf players in the world. Together they set out to deliver high-quality clothing that lets customers show off their own style.

Sorsa takes its name from the Gaelic word for freedom and aims to encourage shoppers to break free from the fashion industry's usual rules. Its range includes everyday menswear, such as heavyweight cotton T-shirts, alongside premium golf polos.

Sarah Jane said opening the St Enoch store was a massive moment for the brand, and that the team was excited to introduce more people to what Sorsa stands for and its choose-what-you-pay approach. Centre manager Craig Stewart said it was great to welcome a Scottish fashion brand already backing a cause close to the centre's heart.

For shoppers who like to know their money is doing some good, it is a refreshing addition to the city's high street.
